While enabling SSL for the APIM Gateway I have entered wrong credentials for the Keystore/Truststore and gateway comes up without any error, but HTTP server doesn't starts.

Expected Behavior

If wrong credentials are entered for Keystore/Truststore for the Gateway HTTP server, Gateway shouldn't come up or report the error in logs something like "Unable to start HTTP server due as configured Keystore/Truststore is inaccessible", or generic Keystore error like "Keystore was tampered with, or password was incorrect"

Current Behavior

Gateway starts without HTTP server

Your Environment

  • Version used: 1.8.3
  • Browser Name and version:
  • Operating System and version: RHEL 7.2
