Editing an existing input "scrambles" password fields #1103

When editing and saving an existing input which contains password fields in its configuration, those fields are being "scrambled" (replaced with asterisks) in the database.

do not treat password fields in a special way in html
instead, use code to mask out the passwords in the web interface server code, the rest api now transports them in the clear

instead let the rest client mask the corresponding fields when displaying it
