@Infocatcher

Copy path to *.user.js (e.g. "D:\test.user.js").
Paste path into URL bar (or just type it) and press Enter: two install dialogs will be opened.

Provide more details because for me it does not show.

Getting the full path to a file is actually rather a pain in windows (find directory, copy that, add a slash, find filename, copy that, paste them together). But even when I do that, I also get exactly what I expect: a single install dialog. Same for a proper file:// URL.

@Infocatcher

Oops, this is conflict with NoScript.

I can reproduce on Firefox 17.0.1 with new profile + Greasemonkey 1.5 + NoScript 2.6.4.1

I'm use Total Commander and "copy full path" hotkey. :)

And you can use Shift+right-click to get "copy path" item in Explorer's context menu on Windows 7.

I reported to NoScript Support.

Confirmed on:
NoScript 2.6.3rc1+, Greasemonkey any versions (1.0+)

Greasemonkey:
service#shouldLoad starts twice

Not confirmed on:
NoScript 2.6.2-

Perhaps the problem is here:

v 2.6.3rc1
x Work-around for some extensions (e.g. Adblock Plus, Tab Mix Plus)
breaking bookmarklets and URL bar Javascript support after being updated
for Firefox 17
