• To help review, perhaps capture all warning/error messages in a package and then identify duplicates?
• Most errors could be enhanced by adding information on the type of object passed in
• Use glue package (Implement {glue} to construct paste/sprintf messages #378) to make writing error messages etc a bit easier
• Functionalise error messages / checks e.g.: “check_rhs_has_distribution”, “check_rhs_fixed”, and co. to streamline code logic.
• Perhaps take a look see at how dplyr handles errors - e.g., “glubort”.
