README

wx-nfp: A free, cross-platform tool to store the observations of menstrual cycle
according to Natural Family Planning rules.

Natural Family Planning (NFP) is a system is a system in which you become aware
of the fertile and infertile times of your menstrual cycle, and you act
accordingly. If you want to avoid pregnancy, you have marital relations only during
the infertile times. If you want to become pregnant, through NFP you know the best
days in each cycle for seeking pregnancy.

wx-nfp is the tool which aims to be a replacement of the paper daily observation
charts. You can store here all your observations and interpret them.

More information can be found on-line (currently mostly in polish, sorry for that ;)

4. Compilation Instructions

Source code of wx-nfp can be downloaded from
  http://npr.szura.net/

Application requires wxWidgets in version 2.8.x.
Please find more information about installation of wxWidgets here:
  http://www.wxWidgets.org/
Make sure you install the devel packages otherwise you won't be able to compile wx-nfp from source.

LINUX:
To compile on Linux and other Unix systems, simply execute these commands:
  ./configure
  make
  sudo make install

To see compile-time options you can set, you can type:
  ./configure --help

M$ WINDOWS:
The easiest way is to use Code::Blocks to compile the application:
  http://www.codeblocks.org/

The project file: wx-nfp.cbp

The installer has been created using Inno Setup (and ISTool):
  http://www.jrsoftware.org/
  http://www.istool.org/

The project file is located in the win_installer folder.
