Firefox throws an error in Google Maps v3 marker render #95

The error in Firebug is 

"An invalid or illegal string was specified" code: "12"

This seems to be related to the map marker rendering (this error involves 
trying to draw on a <canvas> outside its clipping area), but I'm not sure how.
