DPI seemed a bit non-obvious & clarified 'fast ethernet' to 100 megabit.

👍 to being more specific and I think we should maybe clarify things a bit further. 100mpbs sounds a bit arbitrary. Requirements for a 50 person hack day are different than a 500 person one. Can we maybe put it in relative terms to the number of hackers?

It means 100mbit cables to the participants, so that is relative, but the backbone suggestion should probably be revised to provide an estimate of required bandwidth per attendee perhaps
