The z-bar-top-clamp_4off.stl part is missing and apparently required for shortclamp().

which part is shortclamp() used in?

I've printed most of my hl-reprap without running into that so I'm wondering if this is a legacy part that needs to be either pruned or updated as a valid hl-reprap option.

The shortclamp module appears to be a wrapper for importing the missing z-bar-top-clamp_4off.stl.

It's defined and instantiated in rod-clamp.scad, plate1.scad and makerbot.scad.

Ok, we need to update the build plates at some point (plate1 + makerbot) but rod-clamp is legacy because it was integrated with the z-motor-mount.

Actually I'd stay away from any of the build plates for now, they are almost certainly very out of date, and until we're a bit closer to a finished design I might just axe them so people aren't building legacy stuff.
