Rescrop with negative offset Value #19

Hi, i would like to know why i cannot rescrop my image with negative x or y value.
It ll change size of the destination img and will not crop at the right places..

Hi, i has the same issue, and i found solution from website of ImageMagick.
Just set gravity as NorthWest then crop your image starting with (0,0).

-gravity type

Sets the current gravity suggestion for various other settings and options. 
Choices include: NorthWest, North, NorthEast, West, Center, East, 
SouthWest, South, SouthEast. Use -list gravity to get a complete list 
of -gravity settings available in your ImageMagick installation.

Yes, use appropriate gravity value to offset the cropping position.
