To publicize the new location of the ggplot2 wiki and to showcase more of the things that you’re doing with ggplot2, we’re organizing a second ggplot2 case study competition. To enter, you need to write up a small case study where you’ve found ggplot2 useful and add it to the home page. A valid entry is a wiki page that contains (at a minimum):
If you want to, you might also want to show some other related plots, or some of the steps you took to get to your final plot. You are welcome to enter as many times as you like. Here are some example case studies from last year’s competition.
Once your page is complete, link to it from the case studies list on the home page, and send me an email (email@example.com) with your contact details so that I can get in touch if you win.
Judging will be done by three judges from the R community:
Thanks to generous donations we have some great prizes this year:
The judges will pick a grand prize winner to receive the ipod and two finalists to each receive a free book.
Please get in touch if your company would like to sponsor additional prizes.
Competition closes 1 October 2010.
