ddply(iris, .(), function (df) df) generates extra .id field #176

I'd like to use plyr to iterate over each row of a data.frame. This is probably not the best way to do this but one way to do this is

iris1 <- ddply(iris, .(), function (df) df)

iris1 now contains an extra field named ".id". The expected result (hoped for) is: iris == iris1.

I think the solution to this is to have a function just for this use case: e.g. #124
