# This directory contains the Makefile for the OpenWRT build system
# The source code is contained inside
# the src/ directory to avoid having to download it separately.

# To build, you must have a copy of the OpenWRT source tree
# currently at version 15.05 (Chaos Calmer)
# instructions here: http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/buildroot.exigence

## install pre-requisites (Debian/Ubuntu instructions)
sudo apt-get install git-core build-essential libssl-dev libncurses5-dev unzip
## clone the OpenWRT Chaos Calmer release
git clone git://git.openwrt.org/15.05/openwrt.git
## build the toolchain
cd openwrt/
make tools/install
make toolchain/install

cp -pRv load2sqlite package/utils/

make menuconfig
## we currently use the Nexx WT3020H, which is an RAMIPS platform
## Select the following options to build for ramips:

# Target System -> Ralink RT288x/RT3xxx
# Subtarget -> MT7620 based boards
# Target Profile -> Default Profile

## Select the load2sqlite package
# Utilities -> load2sqlite [M]

## build the package (dependencies should be automatically built)
make package/load2sqlite/compile

## you can find the output package in
bin/ramips/packages/base/load2sqlite_$(PKG_VERSION)-$(PKG_RELEASE)_$(PLATFORM).ipk
