The next major release due November 1st represents the next evolution of the framework. It offers cleaner APIs, better performance, and access to the latest JS features. As part of the promotion of the new version, I am offering a Featured Sponsor spot to any company or individual supporting my work at the Angel ($1000/month) or Hero ($2000/month) levels (directly or via Patreon).

This sponsorship add-on benefit will include your company name, logo, and 2-3 sentences promoting a product or hiring. This information will be included in the project README during the first months following the release, the detailed Release Notes, as well as other blog posts promoting the release.

As of this writing, my cost has reached about $35,000 (money I could not invoice a paying customer for the time spent). But the time this release will be done, I expect this number to reach $45,000-50,000. Existing sponsorship will cover around $25,000 of that. Without additional support, I will have to significantly slow down work once v17 is finished to recover.

If your company or employer benefits from my work, please try to make the case to support it because it is very expensive and time consuming. The next release is a major leap forward for the framework and those using it will get immediate and noticeable benefits in productivity, performance, and developer happiness.

Please help pass this message along.
