Please see bootstrapping_build/README.md for futher informations. This should
be in the sbt repo to keep it in sync and to let all distributions use it. It
could also be used by sbt itself for testing.

I have managed to compile and invoke sbt, but I need help now for the final few quirks to make this creature build sbt.

IMPORTANT This project has moved to https://github.com/sbt/sbt. This issue still exists to avoid dead links, but GitHub limitations prevent the original issue from being correctly preserved here. Please see sbt/sbt#308 for the full issue and to comment.
