The tests use conduit and trying to come up with an install plan that
includes that package somehow triggers:
Backjump limit reached (change with --max-backjumps).
The conditional use of -Werror in the .cabal file causes `cabal check` to fail.

OK, I've bumped the dep and uploaded to hackage. I'll look at merging the other stuff in this branch later. |

I've fixed the conduit and case-insensitive deps now (the conduit one is conditionalised since I'm not sure if the old lower bound is still useful for older GHCs or not). I think that covers everything in this pull request. |
