Sparkleshare crashes with this inside the terminal.

It was happening on 0.9.6 so I upgraded to 0.9.9, but I still get the same.

OS => Ubuntu 12.04

It happens when sparkleshare is uploading changes.

What are you doing when it crashes? Or do you just mean that it crashes immediately upon installing it?

Do you have anything in your ~/SparkleShare ? Does the problem go away if you temporarily move your ~/Sparkleshare somewhere else (i.e. start fresh)?

I have been using sparkleshare for a long time but I only started getting this problem recently.

As soon as I start up sparkleshare now it says uploading changes/syncing changes and dies with the error above after sometime.

Yes, it did get fixed after doing that. I would still recommend keeping the bug report open and fixing the issue though.

Of course it should stay open until it is fixed, but to fix it someone has to know what causes the problem :)

Do you have several folders you share or just one? I'm also on 12.04 and just upgraded from 0.9.3 to 0.9.9 but don't have this problem. If you have several folders you share maybe you could try removing some to identify the one that causes the problem. If you have just one maybe remove it and add a new one.

I had about 10 repos in there.

I deleted the folder Sparkleshare and imported the repos again. It seems to be working fine for now.

does this commit fix the issue?

I cannot comment since I deleted my sparkleshare folder and imported all the repos in the new one but thanks for giving it your time. Good luck with the project, its great!
