Unsure if guessing a remote name is better than not doing it at all.

+1 to this. I would love to encourage teachers and students leverage Heroku fork to clone educational apps; makes it much smoother to do this if there's not a distinct git repo to clone.

+1 I saw folk confused by this. It's only addressed really late in the article instructions, and they were left with a "now how do I get the code" question.
