How to Set a Custom Checkout Amount Using Built-in Logic and Variables

I'm working with the online payment template and I'm looking to customize the checkout amount based on user responses within the form. I understand that Hey Form supports built-in logic and variables, but I'm unsure how to properly implement them to dynamically set the payment amount.

Could anyone share insights or examples on how to use the built-in logic and variables for this purpose? Specifically, I'm interested in adjusting the payment amount based on selections made by the user in previous form fields. I've already set the variables based on the selection but I can only insert a number into the field and not a variable, is it possible?
