Expected behaviour

Under the boost module, a chart visually equivalent with a reduced number of points should be plotted.

Actual behaviour

When a sequence of values with the shape [0, 0, ..., 0, X] is found, with X > 0, only the first 0 and the X are plotted, drawing a line far more steep than the real one. The subsequent zeros should not be ignored.

Live demo with steps to reproduce

Chart with boost module: http://jsfiddle.net/inad9300/vuL48ho9/

  • Load both in different browser tabs, and switch from one to the other to appreciate the difference.
  • On the chart using the boost module, hover the mouse over the places where both charts differ and notice how the subsequent zeros are there, but ignored.

Affected browser(s)

All.
