When I load a page over HTTPS referencing the Highcharts CDN code, I am getting a security warning (mixed content) in Chrome that is pointing to the getBBox() function.

I believe that the protocol for the URL here should not have http or https, it should just be of the form:
//www.highcharts.com/samples/graphics/sand.png

Line in question:

'url(http://www.highcharts.com/samples/graphics/sand.png)';
