This fixes the issue. Of course I played with it for the better part of 2 days before I found it a minute after I opened the issue.

This is related to #43. The issue is that completion files are being sourced before loading compinit.

I agree that it should be fixed with jacobwg's fix. This method works to suppress the error message but you still have to source the completion.zsh files again at the end.

Thanks. I was getting the same error messages with the latest oh-my-zsh and latest dotfiles. Since all changes related to this bug are present in my code, not sure why this was cropping up. In any case, moving compinit suppressed the messages.
