There are many updates in serveral languages, so I added an metadata to store in which language is the update detecting the languages using whatlanguage. Maybe someone can implement a ui to filter the updates by language.

PD: a cool query after with this change
db.updates.group({key: {language: true}, cond: {}, initial: {count: 0},reduce: function(obj,prev) { prev.count += 1; } } );

Rather than filtering, is there a google translate or other API we could use to render content?

I find the idea of auto translation intriguing but perhaps slow. it'd be neat though.

If auto translation would work it would be kind of funny, but translating from english to dutch with google isn't the best options arround, specially when you have dutch dev arround :P
