Race Contour Lines

Shows density of stops of Black, Latino, and Black Latino individuals in New York City, 2008. Contours based on frequency of stops to a given location.

Aggregate 2011 Stops

Shows all stops in 2011, suffers from density problem. Showing close to 700,000 stops on any map makes it difficult to see density and patterns.

This map, with less opaque and smaller markers, is more revealing in identifying the hotspots for stops.
