log4dotty

This is – at least at this moment in time – just an experiment to learn Scala 3 (a.k.a. Dotty). This software is neither API stable nor tested, i.e. by no means production ready.

The idea is to provide logging API backed by Scala 3 metaprogramming facilities, which allows to write code like:

logger.debug("Hello")

This gets compiled to the check-enabled variant:

if (logger.isDebugEnabled) logger.debug("Hello")
