The assertion is about making sure that navigate_back() is called when an account view is active.

Ah! I could reproduce it. Steps:

  1. Open a document with at least an asset/liability.
  2. Close all panes but the NW pane.
  3. Open an account pane.
  4. While keeping the account pane selected, move the pane so that the order of the two panes is reversed.
  5. Perform the "Go Back" action, which is not disabled as it should be.
