Organizations have have multiple owners with full access. This should make it easier for people to contribute and manage, especially since I haven't had as much time for Haskel lately and admin stuff isn't my strong suit.

It looks like the current url will become invalid and there won't even be a redirect. I've already set up the organization but just wanted to double check before moving it.

Should hspec be moved from www.github.com/trystan/hspec to www.github.com/hspec?

It's unfortunate that GitHub does not set up any redirects for moved repositories. Would it be a good idea to re-create http://github.com/trystan/hspec with just a README.markdown after moving?

This repository has moved to http://github.com/hspec/hspec.

I was thinking of making a notice like that.

And we can push a patch release immediately after the move to Hackage with just the repo URL adjusted. I can take care of that, if that helps.

Done! I also made my own repo that just has a readme pointing people to this address.

@gregwebs @sol You should both be owners of the hspec organization. Let me know if something isn't set up right.

If I can close this issue then it works :)

Awesome! I'll do a minor release to Hackage that updates the repo URL.

Other things that I've adjusted:

  • Disabled the Wiki. I'd argue that it's a good thing to focus on the README and Haddock docs instead, please raise your voice if you do not agree.
  • Deleted branch module-spec (it shared all it's commits with master).
  • Added travis-ci hook, build reports are here http://travis-ci.org/hspec/hspec.

Agreed; if Haddoc and README documentation are up to date then the Wiki is not needed.
