rdokker

rdokker is a cool little Sinatra app to serve RubyGem RDocs (statically).

If you choose to serve only one RDoc, it'll be served from '/', otherwise multiple RDoc's will be served from '/gem_name-version'. In this case, you can also view the list of gems at '/'.

Usage

First of all, the gem you want RDocs for must be installed on your system.

git clone git://github.com/hsume2/rdokker.git my_rdokker
cd my_rdokker

rake dokken GEM=heroku
# replace with the gem you want
# you can also specify VERSION
# gem list to see the gem names and versions

ruby rdokker.rb # goto http://localhost:4567
# or
rackup # goto http://localhost:9292

With heroku

I created this to serve my RDoc with heroku. Get an account at heroku.com and install the heroku gem. Then after following the usage steps, do:

rm -rf .git #optional
git init # optional

heroku create
git add *
git commit -m 'first commit'
git push heroku master

That's it. heroku open to see your hard work.
