Blaze doesn't respond or log an error with two versions of cats on the classpath #1783

  1. Add cats-1.0.1 to lib directory on project that has cats-1.1.0
  2. Run curl -H "Connection: close" --http1.0 http://localhost:8080/hello/world
  3. Get curl: (52) Empty reply from server without an error log

This is a bad deployment, but happens in mill. It's concerning that we don't report an error in this case.

Exceptions thrown here don't get logged.

And this is passing a partial function to the signature that requires a total function.

Similar code exists in blaze's HTTP/2 stage and servlets. 🔥
