3 monitors, from left to right: 1080p Horizontal, 1440p horizontal, 1080p vertical.
Simply log into i3

Running i3 version: 4.16.1 (2019-01-27) (pid 1122)abort…)
Loaded i3 config: /home/gideon/.config/i3/config (Last modified: Thu 11 Jul 2019 02:57:47 PM PDT, 2087464 seconds ago)

The i3 binary you just called: /usr/bin/i3
The i3 binary you are running: i3

So my last issue was closed under the presumption that it wasn't an i3 issue. However, the problem vanished when I switched to OpenBox. Furthermore, my troubleshooting method may provide some insight into the root cause. The steps to fix the issue are as follors:

  1. Rename your config file to something else
  2. Reboot the machine
  3. Press Esc to skip generating a config
  4. Manually rename the config to config and reload i3

Now, the third monitor has visible workspaces. Note that the reboot step is necessary, as renaming the config and refreshing doesn't work.
