It seems https://github.com/AlanJAS/followme/commits/master has a richer commit history than this repo, so perhaps remove it and refork from that repo? :)

Actually, that repository is a different activity.

https://github.com/sugarlabs/followme is what should be reforked, and it contains i5o/followme in the gtk3 branch.
