README.md

ascii_drawing

To run this script you need PIL installed.

Python 3.6

How to use

$ python ascii_drawing.py [file] [font_size] [offset]

  • file: name of the file (e.g img1.jpg)

  • font_size: size of the character (int)

  • offset: spaces between each character (int)

Examples

I used font_size=5 and offset=3 in the examples.

$ python ascii_drawing.py img1.jpg 5 3

$ python ascii_drawing.py img2.jpg 5 3

$ python ascii_drawing.py img3.jpg 5 3

The examples in this repository used free stock photos from Pexels.
