I would suggest that the author contact Zhang Yaoxue for clarifications and file a complaint to the officials. I won't expect it to yield any constructive results, knowing how things work in China. However it may give you more material evidences if you decide to involve media and make a big deal out of this.

I would like to say a great big thanks to all of you for finding this out, for following this issue, for spreading the word, and for making me aware of it. It is a great honor my project has won such a prestigious prise regardless of the circumstances.

This software project was created entirely in my spare time and comprises several remote desktop clients, including bVNC, aRDP, aSPICE, and Opaque. I would like to say that while the multi-touch UI and some other aspects of the software are an original creation of mine, the project has benefitted greatly from work by Michael MacDonald of Antlersoft (http://cgibin.rcn.com/mmacdonald31), as well as from work done by the team behind TightVNC (http://www.tightvnc.com), TigerVNC (http://tigervnc.org/), Connectbot (https://code.google.com/p/connectbot/), x11vnc (http://www.karlrunge.com/x11vnc/), FreeRDP (http://www.freerdp.com/), RedHat (http://www.redhat.com/en), and many other individuals and companies. It is very important for credit to be given when using other people's work, and it is also of great importance to republish source code when distributing software build from GPL source code!

I have written this software for the betterment of everyone and it gives me great joy that people all over the world are finding out about it and finding it useful. I am following this discussion with great interest and once again thank you all!

Hate to disappoint everyone. I'm no legal experts and I could be wrong. But according to my preliminary research on GPL license, the only thing Zhang Yaoxue did wrong is that he did not acknowledge copyright owner's rights.

By acknowledging copyright owner's rights, he would then have to honor GPL license. And GPL license enables everybody to do what he does: making money and fame (as long as you include the copyright owners). If he doesn't distribute the software publicly, you cannot even demand him to show the source code to you.

要做的就是做好自己，独善其身而已，不能因为身处乱世而自暴自弃，愤懑不已。每一个 时期的中国都有伟人，他们都明白自己要追求的是自己的人生，而不是去追求如何抱怨这个社会。

教育制度是最重要的，大家在这里发言都应该高考过，要知道一个限制你去选择学习知识的制度并不能带来社会的革新，他所追求的是社会大而稳，楼上如果尝试站在习大大等人的角度考虑问题就应该知道中国现在需要什么。他们的决定一直是为大局考虑的，只是大局并不是我们这类的知识分子，而是欠知识分子。

作为我们这类知识分子，我们得自己去考虑自己的人生

理查德·派普斯还说☭党人所希望的集中化的管理就是要把那些生产资料的管理权交到那些官僚手里去，那些官僚没有能力没有啥办法激励别人好好地去经营那些生产资料，加上这种管理本身的墨守成规的刻板性，所以就会出现很多社会资源浪费在一群渣人身上之类的现象。

I had a dream... one day, I opened the door and saw a UFO floating over the cross street, and I got very excited, "WTF, UFO?!!!", and I immediately picked up my phone and wanted to take a picture of it, and when I enlarged the camera frame, and I clearly saw it said "Governed by China Science Institution under CCP great leading instruction", "Is it real?" I start to doubt, so I sneaked up on it avoid being detected as if I was hunting a sensitive animal....then I got wake up....

之前用过一个软件，远程连接到公司总部服务器上，专门用来看那些老掉牙的，只有扫描版的图纸，登录完成后，虚拟出一个win xp桌面，要求提供ID和密码，进去桌面上只有一个定制的数据库软件，专门用来搜索和查看图纸， 每个人的ID都划分好了权限，什么样的图纸能看，什么样的图纸能改。
今天看了半天，发现这狗屁奖基本和那软件一样
