Plugin Keys: sync using Chrome.Storage #131
Love being able to put my keys in and have them show up on the map.
Not being a web guy, don't know if this is possible, or even acceptable given that it's not extracting any information outside the browser.
Would it be possible to store and sync the keys using chrome.storage?

I wouldn't have an issue with such a modification. The user's keys are entered manually, so it's user data, not ingress data. And chrome.storage keeps it to the browser environment anyway.
However, at first glance it seems this would only be an option if IITC is packaged as a Chrome extension, rather than the userscript we currently use.
Also, as IITC is injected into and runs the page context, I expect it might be tricky, if not impossible, to access chrome.storage from this environment.
If anyone with more experience in this are thinks it is possible, and I'm wrong about the above, please say.
