There was a bug reported by a user on the thread mentioning that it crashes after trying to connect with Sun/Moon open. This was caused by it trying to send the NFC patch for the other version in a way that would just not work, I updated it to actually send the patches a slightly different way and now it works on both versions fully (Tested).
It also now finally actually says when the NFC patch is written/sent instead of staying on "Writing Sun/Moon Patch". So now you know when to go back in-game.
This might also fix the issue some people mentioned where it says in the ErrorLog "Socket.EndConnection..." etc.
