The IIS Sandbox replicates the functionality of an IIS HL7 interface and performs in all ways as an IIS would from the perspective of an outside system (e.g. EHR).
By default the IIS Sandbox is built to meet all national standards and perform correctly, but it can also be configured to behave in non-standard modes. This system is designed for use in test environments only. Real data should never be submitted to the IIS Sandbox.
