The "20th Anniversary Edition app" refers to the portion of your inLeague instance (available at the base URL followed by /app) launched in 2021 that now comprises the bulk of inLeague's functionality. Users can toggle back and forth between "inLeague Classic" and the 20th Anniversary Edition; logging into one will grant access to both. The "classic" app as of 2026 contains a handful of legacy tools for division commissioners on up; parents and coaches should not ever need to use it.
inLeague is in the process of migrating all of our Classic features to the 20th anniversary app. This is a multi-year effort that preserves the contributions from our leagues and our staff from 2005 on while ensuring functionality and compatibility with modern devices. Check out our Roadmap for more information.
inLeague's interface is now unified such that all features may be accessed from the web or from the mobile app on iOS or Android. The web version is always the most "up to date" but the mobile app versions are typically updated at least once a month.
Navigation, displays, and form inputs have been optimized for mobile use. In practice, this means a (slightly) larger number of pages with smaller display areas; public-facing items like registration should feel cleaner and simpler. Leagues still retain the ability to customize most public-facing text.
For leagues with tech-savvy users and developers, all functions available in the 20th Anniversary Edition app are accessible via the inLeague API, which is documented according to the OpenAPI specification.
League Administrators are the intended audience for this guide: Division coordinators, game and referee schedulers, registrars, commissioners, and board members.
