Again, the iNaturalist Android app does not comply with f-droid's Inclusion Policy, specifically these requirements:

  • We cannot build apps using Google’s proprietary “play-services”. Please talk to upstream about an untainted build flavor (either using microg or removing Non-Free dependencies completely).
  • We cannot build apps using proprietary tracking/analytic dependencies like Crashlytics and Firebase. Please talk to upstream about an untainted build flavor (either using a FLOSS analytics software like ACRA or by removing Non-Free dependencies completely).

Thats why I talk about an own repository; the inclusion policy is only for the official repository as far as ik understand.

If you want to fork this repository to make a separate app that complies with f-droid's Inclusion Policy, go right ahead. You will need to remove any trademarks owned by the California Academy of Sciences, like the name "iNaturalist" and the logos. However, we have no plans to make a separate app only for release on f-droid at present.

Sorry if come again but i think you missunderstood me:
I was not talking about to make a fork of the github repository.
i was talking about to make a Custom-repository to distribute the original app in f-droid. Users can add the repository in the f-droid client and than download and update the app. This is possible even for not completly FOSS-Apps.
