@smartcode

Hello,
I tried to set up a new strategy for 500px.com which can be found here https://github.com/smartcode/omniauth-500px

My problem is that when it comes to the callback phase I am confronted with an error I just can't get rid of

here is the backtrace:
https://gist.github.com/2408212

the url called is
http://localhost:3000/auth/500px/callback?oauth_token=mHhgSlAOZaW73SFP26ghN3CiwIIYOdSso7umLVFu&oauth_verifier=Fgr5BT6kKNKzjha76A4t

Maybe someone can take a look at it :)
Thanks!

I'm not sure, but I'd recommend OAuth 2.0 over 1.0 for the strategy...it's much simpler and less likely to have bizarre failures like this :)

@smartcode

@mbleigh I also would prefer OAuth 2.0 because it is much simpler and the 500px documentation also mentions that there is support for OAuth 2.0 but when i started to build the strategy based on OAuth 2.0 it seems the /authorize endpoint is not responding correctly to the request? So I tried it with the version 1.0 stuff.

I created a branch with the OAuth2 - maybe you can have a look at it as well and see what happens when you try to authenticate.

Thanks a lot!

@smartcode

got the oauth 1.0 version working!
