I'm aware of your :YEAR :MONTH variables for recurring invoices but if a recurring invoice is created for monthly services that do not start on the 1st of the month and span a year, is there a way to make the variable aware of that?

Example: Invoice is for 2017-Dec-15 to 2018-Jan-14. If the invoice spans the same year, I can use the :YEAR variable, however, if the invoice spans a new year, the :YEAR will not work. :YEAR-1 or :YEAR+1 will fix the single invoice but break the rest.

Is there a way to add a variable that has a +/- flag for the number of days? i.e. :DATE(YYYY-MM-DD,-30) where YMD are formatting options.

I second this. Even better would be

:DATE_YEAR(YYYY-MM-DD, -30)

:DATE_MONTH(YYYY-MM-DD, -30)
