This version uses the 8-bit color palette, providing 15 levels of gradation compared to the original 3.

I should say I was motivated by the fun challenge, but I am not sure this version of prog.alt.c covers what was requested, so I left README.md untouched.

Agreed, @uguu-org and as such see commit 407783d.

Thank you for your contribution.

I was actually going to bring that up to the judges tomorrow. It might be better (to keep every index.html file 'clean') to have a separate file for the challenges. This along the lines of not cluttering them just like how we avoid it with the thanks file (which is way better than what it was before).

I have had some thoughts but I really need some sleep so I will leave it at that for now. I was hoping to be asleep over an hour ago.

Well we'll see I guess. There are certainly a number of ways to do it! But it would also make it easier to find the challenge for each entry as one would not have to go to each entry ms page and scroll down etc.

Slightly OT.

Incidentally (if you have any inspiration and motivation) I would be curious to see if you could solve the challenge in my entry.

Why you? Because I have always loved your entries!

But of course only if you want and have the time and patience (that I certainly don't have any more).
