hello,

I found out, that the network method is not available for the ipv6 address. I need this for a little project of mine, so I implemented it in your code. Would be nice to have it in the gem.

Hello Leif,
I was planning to add a #network method for IPv6 too. Thanks very much for your pull request, I will merge it in the next release.

Regards,
Marco

Are there any plans of the release date, because I have a couple more implementations for the IPv6 addresses (e.g. broadcast)

I'm planning to release 0.7.6 next week. I will also include some IPv6 methods that are missing at the moment.

Don't know if I will include a broadcast method, as in IPv6 these is no such concept.

I am using network and broadcast methods in IPv4 in to get the beginning and end ips when the user enters in cidr notation. There doesn't seem to be an equivalent for the IPv6 class.
