When I run ipfs daemon, it outputs like this:

Thanks @schomatis . Is there a current workaround while we wait for a release with the fix? (I'm getting this error when trying to set up ipfs on an old Raspberry Pi with only 512Mb RAM.)

No, sorry. I think all these limits are hard-coded. You'll need to use an older version or build it yourself from the above fix.
