Cpasting the following snippet gives a syntax error:

> a = np.array([
>              [0,1,1,0,0,0],
>              [0,1,1,0,1,0],
>              [0,0,0,1,1,1],
>              [0,0,0,0,1,0]])

Email clients seem to convert some characters to unicode. Not much we can do about that. E.g., the following snippet works fine:


> import numpy as np
> a = np.array([
>     [0,1,1,0,0,0],
>     [0,1,1,0,1,0],
>     [0,0,0,1,1,1],
>     [0,0,0,0,1,0]])
