I'm getting this error:
python(7199,0x7fff70023c20) malloc: *** error for object 0x102a005b0: incorrect checksum for freed object - object was probably modified after being freed.
*** set a breakpoint in malloc_error_break to debug
I can create this error by creating any numpy array "a" and then typing "a.c" and pressing tab to autocomplete member function names starting with the letter "c". I'm on an x86_64 macbook pro, and can only reproduce the error when running with the 64-bit build of python (setting export VERSIONER_PYTHON_PREFER_32_BIT=yes before running ipython doesn't create the error).
Unfortunately this is a bug either in numpy or in python itself, ipython just happens to trigger it. We don't have any pure C code, so this is coming either from the readline code inside python itself (most likely) or perhaps from numpy.
Closing here, as it's not an ipython issue.
add meta charset=utf8 to index.html. hopefully closes #140
