Howto/ commands to run ipengine and ipcontroller as a windows service #2153

@JanSchulz

I would like to run ipython engines on different windows PCs (normal Clients in an office) with one PC acting as the controller and the rest of the PCs connecting to it (when they are on) as engines.

It would be nice if you would just have to install a package on each PC, configure the IP of the controller (or run a commandline) and the PC would then have an ipython engine (times th number of cores) installed as a windows service. Same for the controller: install a package or run a commandline and you have an ipython controller.

I will try to figure out how to do that but I found it strange that I couldn't find such a howto or command in ipython or the web.
