hi,
i am trying to use FreeCAD with ipython, but when importing in qtconsole the following error appears in the terminal:

FreeCAD 0.13, Libs: 0.13R1804 (Git)
Initialization of FreeCAD failed:
While initializing FreeCAD the following exception occurred: '__import__ not found'
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

however "import FreeCAD" works fine when not invoked from qtconsole or notebook.. Also it used to work fine from both environments (qt and terminal) back in 0.12
(0.13 also gives error)
To reproduce, on a fresh ubuntu 12.10 with ipython 0.14dev / freecad i run in terminal
"ipython qtconsole " and there

import sys
sys.path.extend(['/usr/lib/freecad/lib'])
import FreeCAD

the error appears in the terminal where python kernel is running, not in the qtconsole

Sorry, this slipped through the cracks. Does it still occur? What version of Python are you using? Is it the default system Python, or are you using a distro such as EPD or Anaconda?
