A user should be able to leave a kernel running in the notebook and reconnect #604

  • When a notebook opens, we will start a kernel for it and store the association between the kernel and the notebook.
  • When a notebook is closed, we will ask the user if they want to keep the kernel running.
  • If they choose to keep the kernel running, we will use it the next time the notebook is opened.
  • All kernels will be killed when the notebook server is stopped.
