I found a problem when using the qtconsole sub-command
together with the default pylab profile. Reported originally to the ipython-user list:
http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.python.ipython.user/6180

What I've done:

$ ipython profile create default
$ ipython profile create pylab

Then this works ok:
$ ipyhton qtconsole

but this fails
$ ipython qtconsole --prfile=pylab

with the following message repeating endlessly until I press CTRL-C:
QCoreApplication::exec: The event loop is already running

Should I fill a report?

The crash report is attached
