QTConsole wrongly promotes the index of the input line on which user presses Enter #732

In standalone ipython, pressing Enter leaves the input index number unchanged, thus:

In [1]: 234
Out[1]: 234
In [2]:
In [2]:

But QTConsole promotes (wrongly, I think) the index of the input line on which you press Enter, thus:

In [1]: 234
Out[1]: 234
In [2]:
In [3]:

appears to have been fixed in master, though it's not quite identical.

In terminal:

In [1]: 234
Out[1]: 234
In [2]:
In [2]:

In QtConsole:

In [1]: 234
Out[1]: 234
In [1]:
In [2]:

(null input lines are demoted)

But the important part - adding empty lines does not increment the execution count - is correct.
