fix ipython desktop entry file that it passes desktop-file-validate and remove the KDE tags which should be unnecessary (values used should be default)
added a desktop file for qtconsole
Is there a better icon available than gnome-netstatus-idle?
remove empty and unneeded options from desktop file
now passes desktop-file-validate
add desktop file for the qtconsole
is there still a shell profile available? then is ipython-sh.desktop should be adapted too
Shell profile exists, but we don't want to promote it at the moment because it doesn't do all the clever things that it shoud - just the prompts.
For the icon, I've got the Qt console using category-show-all in Ubuntu - it's a >> icon vaguely reminiscent of the Python prompt, but it's not really meaningful.
The exec line for the pysh profile should be ipython --profile=pysh. That should be the only thing it needs, but Thomas is right, the shell profile has not restored most of its functionality from before, only the prompts, really.
Thanks, we can merge this once the sh one is fixed (or removed) as well. I can do that step, if you want.
We are freezing everything but docs and critical bugfixes with rc4 today, but it's okay that this doesn't make it since, as an example, it counts as docs.
update ipython-sh desktop file and remove unneeded and empty tags
Okay, I'll go ahead and merge this then. Thanks again!
